u cant call roddick, a bad player . . . he may not be as good as federer or nadal but he would still be number 1 if those 2 players never came along, he just happens to be in the wrong era, his serve is unmatched and forearm can match federers. SO before u go insulting roddick u might actaully want to watch one of his matches

roddick is a good player berdych did a worse miss when he meet fernando gonzalez in madrid 06 semifinal but berdych is not a bad tennis player either so dont say than roddick is a bad tennis player

OHMYGOD.
Nadalarq - are you stupid? Andy is one of the BEST tennis players ever. He has more talent than anyone else in the top 20. (federer and djokovic are exempt...) because hello? have your even SEEN his serve and forehand? you wouldnt even DREAM about cracking something as fast as that - so before you go criticize andy, make sure you actually KNOW his game.

he's got a bad transition game and even worse net game,that's all.Fact is Mahut to his credit won Wimbledon as a juniors a few years ago and he choked on mp when he missed the forehand passing shot.He was out acing;out hitting Roddick until that last point,hell Roddick knew he got away with that title!
Roddick is terrible when it comes down to return of serves compared to the Federer,Nadal,Novak,Davydenko and Ferrer.

andy roddick competes with the tennis games top players, he's currently ranked 5, and he currently has a semifinal spot in the tennis masters cup, how could you say he's not a good tennis player?????
