We are standing on the eastbound platform in Greenwich, where we see a couple of trains as they blow for track workers, who are working just east of the platforms. The first train we see is a Metro North local headed for Grand Central Terminal. This train consists of 8 M2's. Just as he clears the station, we see Amtrak Train 2154, the Acela Express to Boston South Station, as he blows through the station and makes some good noise. Notice the whistle that is blown by the MOW worker, who is acting as a spotter for the work crews, to let them know when trains are coming. 2154 consists of Power Car 2007, the standard 6 car consist, and Power Car 2028. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on June 11th, 2010.

  • @jfsa380 they are uncoupable with magnets like the tgv

  • Are the Acela power cars uncoupleableand interchangable and just the cars being semi-perminatly coupled, or is it all one piece?
