@kanguesso Your both correct in my opinion R9 was very good but any true critique of Football could tell Henry had him beat bc he care about others as much as himself (assists). His assists were unbelievable. in 02/03 he scored 42, assisted 23 thats unheard of. He could have scored more if he wanted. Ppl today want to compare messi to these 2 guys its not even close. Henry scores like R9, assist like Dinho, Dribbles like Zidane. And Faster than anyone ive ever seen. He is perfect.

What is wrong with people, Ronaldinho was a special player with his dribbling and technical ability but Henry played in the best league in the world and was top goalscorer in the league 4 times as well as grabbing 92 assists in his 7 and a half seasons at Arsenal.

@TheCookieMunster94 Sorry, But the statistics speak otherwise. And so does the highlights. Simplicity beats flashiness. And thats why Henry has broke multiple all time records and Ronaldinho hasn't even broken any if I'm not mistaken. He can hide behind his tricks if he wants. He was definitely better than good he was GREAT. But years from now when they look back at the statistics. Henry was far more effective, and with the worse team AND in the far superior and difficult league.

@dvwut Oh yes Messi has unbelievable potential. Messi has something special, he has team chemistry that has never been seen even though he has a great team around him. It takes someone of HIGH standards to stand out like he does. But individually he isn't as good he does have a great center of gravity but no strength. What sets Henry apart to me is you could put him anywhere and he would score goals & assist. France's top scorer & assister as long as Arsenals. That kind of record is crazy

@SwaggerBoi112 Interesting how different people can have completely different opinions to each other on players, to me your opinion sounds deluded but I have no way of saying who actually is, it could be me. I do agree with his speed, at his peak Henry was the fastest I've ever seen in football, he just didn't have the center of gravity Messi has, and personally I don't rate him as high. What about the future? Do you agree Messi can end up a better player overall? Just 24.. His consistency.. wow

@dvwut True but the difference is MAJORITY of Messi's goal ratio is from tap ins. Henry's was at a minimal. Dont get me wrong, Messi will kill in a minute. But if you ever misjudged Henry with his speed, by the time you blinked it would be over. He could score anyway in any direction, Volleys, screamers from 25+ yds, dribble the team ect. Messi isn't a long ranger, but I guess when your as good as him you dont need to be. He was like Messi with Cristiano's body but stronger/faster.
