  • @switchbeyotch Yes you are right. Toni Braxton goes to funraisers from time to time but does not spend the necessary time devoted to it. And Snoop dog did make a few appearances at first but I haven't really seen him anymore. Perhaps he doesn't want to burden his little girl with the added stress of making appearances and such. Howie from the Backstreet Boys really raised a lot of awareness for his late sister. It is more common than we think.

  • @HisQueenJames That's because Lupus spontaneously goes into remission. At some point, it will probably relapse. There is a presumptive test for Lupus called Anti-nuclear Antibody ( ANA ) test. Faith and Prayers are of very little advantage mainly through the placebo effect experienced by some patients. Different suffers of Lupus suffer due to different gene variations, immune system competence, and the initial mechanism(s) that triggered the development of Lupus.

  • @terryrodcrz Except that autoimmune diseases occur in other mammals besides humans. Tens of thousands have died at the hands of doctors through missed diagnosis, botched operations, and hospital acquired infections ( nosocomial infections ).

  • @terryrodcrz Toni Braxton has it, Seal, Snoop Dogg's daughter has it. If I was a celebrity I would be an awareness machine. I wish these people would talk about it!

  • @terryrodcrz I'm a nurse with Lupus. I know exactly what you mean. The key to it is finding a doctor who will listen your questions and concerns, which is sometimes difficult to find.

  • @wowoak Sadly, a lot of people aren't fasinated with us simple folk. Had Micheal Jackson spoken up or say Anna Nicole Smith before they let drugs overtake them, then perhaps there'd be more awareness. JMHO.

  • @HisQueenJames good for you but God also works thru the hands of doctors. And although medicines are not good in excess, they are sometimes the only hope in addition to faith. This coming from a fellow Christian.

  • @SOMASUNDRAM100 that is so true but its so hard to keep up

  • @butterflysparkle98 it can put sores all over your body. That was one of my main issues for 4 years. Nothing worked. One day they just started healing and I have only seen a few here and there since then.
