There were 10 witnesses putting Eric in Managua over two hours away at the time of the murder, and there was no forensic evidence linking Eric in any way to the crime. The prosecution's main evidence was the testimony of a co-defendant who exchanged immunity for stating that he saw Eric at the scene of the crime. Also interviewed is Marc Meznar, U.S. Consul General, Nicaragua.
