The winning film for the 2011 Canadian Western CFC-YFC Conference 'Original Short Film' competition.
The film centers on a fictional Youth for Christ Chapter Head, the protagonist whose actions and relationships influence the film's narrative. The film opens post-Confession with the Chapter Head leaving to attend a YFC event. On his journey he contemplates his tenure as a Chapter Head with an internal monologue, recalling his growth, relationships, and struggles. While he makes his way to the event, he contemplates his instances of failure in sin after seeing places that trigger his memories. When he visits his penultimate stop, a Church, he resolves to better himself: not for others, but for God. It is a realisation that forces a change: that his sins have culminated into alienation and estrangement from friends, his counterpart, and those who he is pastorally responsible for. In that change there is a paradigm shift that requires the donning of the spiritual armour of God.
