2010 is the year of the World Cup soccer in Cape Town South Africa. It will be the biggest global event the Africans have ever organised. International soccer organisation FIFA keeps their fingers crossed as the world is watching. Four years ago, nobody of the global brands exploiting this tournament was present to pay attention........
I had a day off from a shoot I was doing in Cape Town, so I shot a portrait film of all competing homeless players at the homeless world cup soccer in Capetown sept. 2006. All is shot on an old bolex camera. Big thanks to all the fantastic players for posing.
