Baja Warrior Mini Bike First Start and Top Speed (1080P)

This is a first start, walk around, and top speed run of my new 6.5hp 196cc Baja Warrior Mini Bike.


My 5 year old Mini Baja is getting really beat and is in rough shape so I thought it was time to retire it and get a new on. Decided to get the baja warrior this time because I like the look of it a bit more.

I'll keep the other one functional as long as I can but it's going to be mostly a parts bike now. The first thing I'm going to steal from it is the torque converter and just give it the stock centrifugal clutch gear reduction system from the new Baja.

this might be a stupid question but, where does the light hook up to?

@Mrtechsauce there's a wire coming out of the front of the engine that the light plugs into, that I guess is hooked up to a little generator inside the engine.

i think my clutch is whining when i first start accelerating, is that bad or does it just need to be broken in?

@TheRealUyi its probably because its just a cheap centrifugal clutch on the bike? those always tend to make a lot of noise when they are in their friction zone before they fully engage.

@dailee3 hmm not sure... gas on and flowing, choke on, kill switch in right position? oil full, gas full and fresh? spark plug connected properly and working? Engine not flooded? Try spraying some quick start into the air intake and seeing if the engine even attempts to start after that?

Ours wont start everything is on but when you pull the starter it wont start got any suggestions? thanks.

@MarcelsWorkshop oh, if yours is Canadian, then its DEFFINATLY different. But mine is green and says Baja on the decorative fuel tank.

@AlexanderBeans Not sure if you can order these through a website...? I got mine at Canadian Tire. I believe in the US you can get them at either Atwoods, Pep Boys, or TSC. Here they go for $700

@AlexanderBeans No Idea, it's not something I've ever calculated or has ever concerned me lol. I think the Baja site used to say approx 30-50mpg for these on their specs page but it doesn't say any more so don't quote me on that. :P
