I highly recommend you get the DVD to see the entire show - this was one powerful glimpse of the project - but every single minute of this show was inspirational, and heart-lifting. By the end, I had tears streaming from my face to see the future beind unfolded before my very eyes. The DVD shares other girls' amazing stories - you can't even imagine fighting some of these odds!

I think that the world is divided into good people and bad people who choose to act the way they do... your race doesn't decide who you are... and i think oprah made a wonderful decision to help those lovely girls... i dont understand why she was criticised for that...

protool11..when you have an education, you can become anything..you make it sound like there are no professionals in South Africa...get a passport and travel...stop watching the discovery channel and see the world....Africa is not all poverty and people do get out of poverty into wealth.
