מבצע יונתן - קטע החילוץ - חלק 1 Operation Thunderbolt -- the rescue part 1.

Thanks God, our Israeli soldiers of the Israeli elite unit "Sayeret Matkal" and other units succeeded to rescue Jewish hostages from Entebbe, Uganda in "operation Entebbe" on the 4 July 1976. Unfortunately, the commander of the force, Lt Col. Yonatan Netanyahu was killed in that action.
The hostages were captured in terrorist action on 27 June 1976, when Arabs and German terrorists took over an "Air France" plane full of passengers, and forced it to change direction and to land in Entebbe, Uganda. The local dictator Idi Amin collaborated with the terrorists. then the Jewish and Israeli passengers were separated from the others and the terrorist set an Ultimatum to the Israeli government -- if they would not release terrorists from the Israeli Jail, they would kill the hostages. Here is the Israeli answer to those terrorists, as it appears in the movie "Operation Thunderbolt".
The rescue action was close to be perfect, except of the death of few hostages and Yoni Netanyahu.
Always and forever we have to thank God for all his miracles and grace that he makes with us and with our ancestors.
