According to Ahmadiyya understanding of Islam, Jesus (peace be on him) didn't die of his injuries on the cross. He survived this accursed death on the cross and migrated Eastwards in search of the 10 lost tribes of Israel. He died a natural death at a good old age in Kashmir, India. This is a documentary proving from biblical accounts that the the Turin shroud is the linen relic used for Jesus Christ after crucifixion. This documentary contains clips of the recent visit of Worldwide Head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad and the Fifth Successor (Khalifa) of Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) who is the metaphorical second coming of Jesus.

  • ...so when the hadiths say that his name will be like his, his parents' names will be like those of Holy Prophet's parents, it means that the coming of Imam Mahdi will be like the coming of Holy Prophet in this age. Just like a true servant his given the name of his master for his devotion, Imam Mahdi will also get the name of his master because of his devotion as a servant to Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). We don't overlook ahadith, we just understand the wisdom behind his words!

  • ...as far as the hadith about his parents' names being similar to Holy Prophet's is concerned, you would also recall that according to hadiths the grave of Imam Mahdi had to be INSIDE the grave of Holy Prophet (QABREE is the word used in hadith). Can you even imagine in your wildest dreams that such a blasphemy will ever be committed with the grave of Holy Prophet for the sake of burial of Imam Mahdi? These ahadith have metaphorical significance, one should not take everything literally...

  • ...Every true follower of Holy Prophet is from his spiritual progeny and this is what Holy Prophet was referring to when he said that Imam Mahdi will be from his Ahl. Quran makes it clear that the one who rejects a true prophet does not remain his ahl even if he belongs to the same blood family. Noah (as)'s son is an example where when his son rejected him, Allah said to Noah that he did not belong to his Ahl...

  • ...Sign of the hour does not necessarily mean Qiyamah. Jesus was the sign of the hour for the Jews as he was last of the Israelite prophets and with his coming, a long chain of Israelite prophets came to an end. Mosaic dispensation also came to an end with Jesus' coming. Next prophet of Allah was Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who had to come with a perfect teaching and new/perfect Shariah. So he is the sign of the hour for the Jews in that sense...

  • @klashenkoff I am not talking about minor signs or major signs. Holy Prophet's hadith says that he is as close to the Qaymah as the two adjacent fingers are to each other. That in our own terms means NO TIME? No gap at all. However it has been more than 1400 years since his demise and the world still hasn't seen Qaymah. That shows that in religious spiritual sense, the time that we consider to be hundreds of years has no significance in grand scheme of things...

  • @IslamAhmadiya the prophet MUHAMMED (saw) was a minor sign of judgment DAY! after his death the ball started rolling and we have seen all the minor signs come to pass as seen in his hadeeths...now how does ISA (as) become a sign of the hour?? if he came befor the prophet MUHAMMED (saw)? the prophet also mentions that the mahdi shall be from his decendants was mirza a sayyad? NO!! the parents shall share the same names...why ist you ahmadis overlook the rest of the hadeeths?

  • @IslamAhmadiya theres a difference between the 2 verses which is clearly seen ..1 is raised to lofty station (whether it be in this world or the hereafter) and the othe raised upto himself (Allah) so u cant compare the 2 just becouse they mentioned RAISING

  • ...Secondly, there is a hadith in which Holy Prophet (PBUH) said that "Qayamah is as close to me as the two adjacent fingers are to each other." It has been more than 1400 years since Holy Prophet came and we still have not seen the day of Judgement. What do you have to say about that? Holy Prophet mentioned the signs of Qayamah in other ahadith, and any sane, mutaqqee person can already see that those signs are coming true in this age. This is the age of the Messiah and Mahdi and he has come!

  • @klashenkoff First of all, when Quran says that Allah raised Jesus to Himself, it does not mean physical ascent. Similar terminology of "Rafa" (raising) has been used in case of Prophet Idris (as) as well in the Quran. Allah says: "and we raised him to a lofty station (Wara'fanahu makanan Aliyya). Does it mean that Idris (as) has also been raised physically to some heaven? It is rather the the spiritual honour and status that Allah talks about when such terminology is used for a human being!

  • @IslamAhmadiya are u forgetting the verse where Allah says he raised jesus to himself theres no mention of him ever returning to earth ..or any hadeeth saying so...where as the hadeeths say he shall return close to the day of judgement and Allah says he shall cum as a sign of the cumming of the hour...its been over a century since ur masiah passed away he cant be a sign
