A massive sun storm made its way to Earth on October 24th, producing an intense and vibrant Northern Lights display that was seen as far south as Arkansas. Brian Emfinger shot this time-lapse video from the town of Ozark.

  • it is not what i just seen in this video that i have to say is very pretty it is way bigger and almost like a red dusk over the sky

  • @gabigowriel no during a large geomagnetic storm the northern lights can be seen as low as northern Florida( like K-9+)

  • magnetic poles are not where they should be?

I mean AURORA BOREALIS SO LOW?!

    Can't be "normal"...

Even with the biggest solar storm ever...

or maybe there are allready MULTIPLE magnetic poles and ...

  • Yeah i seen this from Tulsa from where i was living.

  • THIS IS AMAZING TO BAD I WAS INDOORS WHEN IT HAPPENED I MEAN I LIVE AL

  • @xXDEICIDE216Xx - I have made good friends with Hunting/Fishing outfitters in that area so fell free to msg me for some great locations.

  • @xXDEICIDE216Xx - I’m from the US and been traveling to Ontario for 9 years now. We are flown out to remote lakes in the middle of nowhere on pontoon planes for a week. No electricity propane deluxe cabins. Best fishing in the world. Best time to go between Aug and beginning of July) (Temp at that time low 40s high 70s ) I went to White River Ontario this year and the milky way was magnificent!!! I have seen the aurora twice in 9 years. TV and pictures do not do justice. It is truly inspiring!

  • @Derail07 Where would you recommend I go to see the milkyway at night? I understand the aurora is kinda a hit or miss as it depends on what the sun is doing on any given day. But the milkyway, just seeing it would be awe inspiring to me.

  • @xXDEICIDE216Xx - Its bad ass man. Seen both of them before. I will never forget it. Looking at the he milkyway alone made me feel so small in this universe

  • this is what i was supposed to see but no just had to go to bed early
