Yawn... amusing response.

@Solitarious2011 The reason people are athiests and say "Oh my god" is force of habit. It's a very commonly used phrase, I grew up hearing it do I say it all the time even though I am an athiest.

I am fascinated by people who say they do not believe in God and yet will use the line in conversation "oh my God". So by this they are swearing on something they dont believe in.
I dont believe in the invisable flying spaghetti monster so should I by exactly the same principle swear by it in future conversation such as, "oh my invisable flying spaghetti monster".
Just a thought.

A little clarification for those saying Dawkins didn't answer the question: He did. He's saying that there is no evidence whatsoever for the existence of deities, which are made up by man, and that even if evolution weren't true, it still doesn't prove the existence of a god/gods, and on top of it, why does that make YOUR RELIGION right? How does it prove the existence of YOUR GOD/GODS and not those of OTHER religions? Because what you were brought up to believe in could never be wrong, right?
