@hikerdude4000 So which is better - the sharp needle shoved into your arm, or the smelly mask clamped over your face? When you say "a lot of times" ...... how many is "a lot" in this context? It seems that with gas, you either love the stuff or hate it, with nothing inbetween!

Really I just got mine out a few days ago. They had to keep me awake! TT~TT I wish they had put me to sleep.

I've got to have three wisdom teeth out in hospital with general anaesthesia (first time!) and was wondering if gas or injection is better? Will I get a choice of how I'm put under? Does the stuff they inject you with burn all the way up your arm? What does gas smell like and does it feel like suffocation as you go under? How long does it take to fall asleep and will I dream/hallucinate whilst unconscious? Will I have a really sore throat from the gas pipe when I come round?
