http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9t-gYnPNaw I liked this guy's "fast math trick" he probably has a lot of other great videos!
Share some ideas with each other if you've had success with a particular way of doing things! Check out the dyscalculia forum and hopefully find some people who can teach in a unique way. Try learning online through youtube videos! Some math teachers have done a great job explaining a math concept online over youtube!

  • Microsoft math equation function really works for repeating statistical formulas. You can make a text label and all you need to enter the numbers for the formulas. I am grade 5 math and this really really helped me. Although my teachers fucking freaked because they thought i was cheating.

  • @MetalSiicken DAMMIT i freakin cant spell either...

  • i was in kumon.....but i have worked HARD but still get ds and f's.....by ONE - or + screw up. yep kumon made me feel dumb cuz i felt i was too slow and i was around all these kids that were doing log division. I HATED it.....I did cry on the way and when i had to do it. one day after i'm told a formula i got it, the next, i can't do it till taught again.....

  • thanks for this, some great advice!

  • you are SO fine lol but yeah same here i gotta problem with math to

  • I think I stopped learning math in the 5th grade too. I still count on my fingers

  • omg, im sorry, i think its not a statue, its a coat hanging,

  • fat hippos eat... I loled, haha, I wish that actually went to something... unless it does? I totally agree though, physically writing it down helps a lot. Sometimes I meditate a bit in class, I empty some head space to consciously take in something very important, but I cant do this ALL of class, just really important stuff.
