Released in 1964 as a movie, this was originally a 60-minute TV-pilot called, "Royal Bay." After not being picked up by a network, it was released as a 70-minute movie called, "Fatal Confinement," also known as, "Della." Charles Bickford, Paul Burke, and Diake Baker star in this, as so does the Queen Of Hollywood, Ms. Joan Crawford. Joan also worked with Diane Baker in 1959's "The Best Of Everything," as well as also-1964's "Strait-Jacket." Enjoy.

  • Heavens to Murgatroid! THANKS for posting this! I'm eagerly looking forward to watching all 7 parts. I've always had a crush on the beautiful & talented Diane Baker. And what a powerhouse cast: Charles Bickford, Joan Crawford, Diane, Paul Burke, etc! Good or bad script, I'm anxious to check it see that awesome lineup of performers! :-)

  • Not to mention a stellar Crawford performance with dreamy Paul Burke, but the shots of that luscious 64 Lincoln Continental had this old car buff boy salivating! Great film- we watched and loved it. Had never ever heard of it prior! Joan looked the best I have ever seen her in later years! Nothing short of stunning!

  • This would have been a great mid-sixties color spectacular, too bad they never made a series out of it

  • Thank you so much for da post...I subscribe jus u ROCK...

  • Sensationally, unforgettably and unapologetically, not very bad!! Always a treat to find a new Crawford perf. along with the lovely and always gracious (if not truly sun-shy) Diane Baker. Chas. Bickford -- think his career paralleled the entire history of cinema?!
