that is seriously beautiful. I play piano, and sang Will ye go lassie go for a choir concert, and would love to be able to play it!! Maybe you can send me the music???

Sorry goldilox, I came up with this arrangement by ear when I recorded it, and I don't have any music. However, I can tell you I played it in G and if you ask, I'll figure out the chord progression.

The song itself isn't hard to catch by ear at all. But those solos...! Man, how did you came up with it?

Practice, practice, practice. That, and strategic borrowing of ideas. The descending progression in A minor during the solo was inspired by a recurring theme in Chopin's Scherzo No. 3 Op. 39 in C# minor. Listen to it, and you'll recognize the idea in the chorale-like middle sections.
