@takebackaim16 if you would like to take downhill seriously i would reccomend triple clamp forks where the forks are attached to the bike just below the handle bars

Aw! Those look like nice fun trails! I wanna go there, but there's the damned atlantic ocean in the way :((

if you weren't kidding you should have been. those scooter tricks are sick. not really. they are good, but you shouldn't be dissing falls city, the jumps are 4x what you are doing in any of your videos.

what makes the front forks downhill capable? i was looking at a few bikes but people reviewed them and said they are "not downhill capable"

there are several things, diameter of tubes, thickness of tube walls, angle of head tube, valving, internal springs, or air. if it isn't downhill capable, dont try downhill with it. there are many that are good enough to do the job, especially if they are a decent brand like fox or marzocchi.

Are there runs for novice riders or is all of it pretty extreme? Is there jumps you can't bail on? I live close to here wanna bring my cousin that used to be a bmx champ.

Bonzai trail is great for beginners. That is for beginner extreme riders. I would recommend having a couple years of biking time before trying it. It has a whole series of small jumps in the 1-3 foot range with great landings. It also has alternate routes for everything, so you don't have to do anything you aren't comfortable with.
