I don't know what I was expecting, but from the title I was kind of hoping it'd turn the fridge inside out. Perhaps making everything outside it cold while the interior remained at room temperature.

Probably not he greatest idea to turn your fridge on immediately after having it on it's back like that. Maybe wait 2-3 hours after turning it back on to let the freon settle first.
