@RscorpioMtl Actually they have, it is a mecha that looks very similar to this.

maybe those gloves transmit to the hands what the robotic hands "feel". Sci-fi is very adaptable m8 :) you can always find a explanation for something, so that will sound plausible

haha

@TheOnlyMerlin maybe the suit's computer has an calculated grip strentgh for the onboard weapons such as the rifle or knife, but concerning foreign objects you are right
-
i want one :)

I thought it was strange when the Colonel's suit fell over when he died. You would think the suit could stand on its own... maybe it was just a way to make the scene more dramatic.
-
One problem I saw when watching this is the lack of physical feedback when the suite interacts with objects. For example: when the person inside is seen "holding their gun" in the air. Without the appropriate feedback, a person would be likely to accidentally destroy almost anything they interacted with (like a very strong man with no feeling in his limbs trying to handle something very delicate, like a tea cup or the like).

Both in the game version and watching the movie, it gave me the Valkryie feeling like the one from the japanese anime called Macross. lol the gunpod almost looks like the gunpods Valkryie fighters use.

Kinda reminds me of a mix between the Terran marine suits from StarCraft and the mechs from The Matrix movies.
IM sure the japenneses are building one right now

One thing I realised that's wrong with this animation is that the person is sitting in the amp suit whereas, according to the movie, the book and other resources, the operator actually stands in it.
