Hello there! This is the modified sheet music released for Revenge of the Sith, the Star Wars Main Title, also known as Luke Skywalker's Theme. I'm playing it on my Yamaha Portable Grand DGX-550 on the "Chamber Strings" voice (#057) with "Brass Section" (#094) in the Dual setting. The modified parts are the 20th Century Fox Fanfare (obviously), the chords after the "A" section repeat (changed from a root position to first inversion), and the ending is included from the first film, "Star Wars", during the Imperial Cruiser pursuit. I'm not going to release sheet music, because it's not modified enough, and so violates the "fair use" clause of the Copyright act. But the additions are simple enough that I think you can figure it out. ;)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure I'm the only person playing the Star Wars main title on Youtube that also precedes it with the 20th Century Fox Fanfare.

As always, thanks for viewing!

  • No. In harmony, there are the right chords and the wrong ones. It isn't so hard when one considers that chords with more than 4 discrete pitches are too dissonant to have much meaning (this doesn't stop the jazz guys from playing e.g. E flat minor 9th chords, 1,2,3,5,7)and that most chords consist of pitches from a 7-tone scale and are constructed in thirds with occasional chromatic alterations. How many possibilities can there be? Yet with all this, people still blow it. Might as well fart.

  • It would be helpful to know *which* chords you're talking about, since all the ones in the Star Wars main anthem are four notes or less.

  • ah i love this! i wish my key board had this sound

  • Thanks for the compliment! :)

Which one do you have? I think all Yamaha ones have 'Brass Section" and "Strings", as do most other keyboard brands, and a lot of the newer ones allow you to combine them in "Dual", at least the Yamaha ones do.

Might the one you're referring to be the one by ansiic? It's called "Girl plays Star Wars theme on Organ".

  • There is another video on youtube that has the opening fanfare. She has like 2 synths on top of each other and then another one she plays with her feet. I can't find the link.
