I find it disturbing that you believe all stereotypes are based on a certain amount of truth and therefore are a valid way to judge an entire community of people. In my experiences I've found many stereotypes to be untrue and I think it's unfair to use such generalisations without any real evidence. For example, contrary to common stereotypes about the gamer community, recent studies have shown that the population of gamers is around 40% female.
