Sounds very old-skool cool! You should have your own track on Pink Floyd's Ummagumma album. BTW, do you think an echo in general makes a good substitute for a reverb (for a synth)? I might like to try something similar with my Alesis Ion.

Some people would call it "new age ambient space music".
You can hear more music like this by turning into WXPN 88.5FM out of the University of Pennsylvania on Saturday night-Sunday morning between 1am and 6am Philadelphia time. The program that plays this stuff is called STARS END and it's usually hosted by Chuck Van Zyl. The radio station is available to listen to on the internet if you live outside of the area. I live 20 miles from there so I can listen on the radio itself.
