Aimee Mann sings Save Me at The White House

Aimee Mann performed for President Obama and First lady on May 11th 2011 for Poetry Night at the White House. Aimee was joined by a prestigious cast of poets, musicians and artists to celebrate the art of American poetry. Additional artists' highlighting the significant influence of poetry on American culture included Billy Collins, Common, Rita Dove, Kenneth Goldsmith, Alison Knowles, Jill Scott, and Steve Martin and Steep Canyon Rangers.

Aimee also participated in an afternoon workshop for high school students from across the country. This is a clip of Aimee Singing Save Me at the afternoon workshop
