Newcastle Afternoon 1970 (Pawley's Island, S. Carolina)

Silent, time deteriorated, 8mm film from way back then, when it was first called "arrogantly shabby". Here is a glimpse of life at my grandmother's guest house, "Newcastle" sometime in the late 1960's, early 1970's. (Hunter Desportes, 1970,2008)

That's cool! Isn't that Ellen Lachicotte laying out? It was neat to see the cottages and live footage of Mamma D. I didn't recognize most of the others but I'm sure you'll fill me in!
