  • It runs very sweetly and looks great

  • Thank you. Your kind compliment is appreciated. A lot of hard work went in to this restoration.

  • Very nice looking engine. smooth is either sand the iron flat or just apply lots of heavy primer or other filler to normalize the surface. A good running unit, and the big 6 is rather rare.

  • I'd imagine he performed extensive sanding to the castings, then primed it and applied several coats of paint.

  • beautiful work

  • WOW that's just amazing!!!

  • Wow a sandwich machine I have this same one out in the back field it was my grandfathers when I was a kid I always belived it really made sandwichs thats what my Grandfather told me than when I was older I realized he was pullin my leg

  • That is better than an original if you baught one back in the day!! extremely nice- museum quality this is!!

how did you make the casting so smooth? did you file the texture off, or fill it in? I have a 15hp. Fairbanks Morse I would like to make like a glass finish

I love this engine :o) I am extremely jealous; Job well done
