5 Questions For Atheists Answered

Silvermage87 posted a video recently entitled "5 Questions For Atheists." This is my attempt to answer those questions.

1.) What are some of the problems you see or have with religion/theism?
2.) Are the problems you have with Christianity more people-based or religion-based? Why?
3.) How did the Universe and life come into being?
4.) Do you believe in a soul?
5.) Why is atheism better than theism/religion?

I hope this video is helpful in answering those questions.

Read the Qur'an. I used to be an atheist, too. Do what I did, and read it so you can explain to people how foolish their beliefs are. Do it with an open mind, and see what conclusions you come to.

I have read the Qur'an. It really isn't any different from the Bible except in its opinion of Jesus. I don't see any reason to regard it as any more than stories either.

The basic ideas behind christianity are the teachings of Jesus. Jesus taught forgiveness, love between all humanity, tolerance, reciprocation of treatment between people. Christianity is more a method of treating your fellow humans than a way of worshiping god. Have you read his teachings? Do you actually try to understand what you are attacking?

I watched this video and thought it was very well done. Then I checked your channel and noticed you only have 6 subscribers. That's a shame, you really deserve more.

Like you said in your comment: this sort of fact-based, open dialogue is the only way for the whole secular communityto distance itself from theistic lunatics whose only way to counter arguments is ad hominem attacks.

yes I know some humans can feel compassion and they know what equality is, and feel love to be true. but none of these true humans are running the show, this is true or we all would be truely free and live life to the fullest and not worry for anything, as we do today in this reality those weak beings have created for Mankind. The people that have made all these things today must be truely Heartless and are to weak to Master true power.

Christrinality? hmm,this system has the exact problem that todays politics has, the people doing it are weak minded and do not tell the truth. The church did not tell Mankind the correct address of God, and added traditions and physical rituals and connected God to this physical world which is incorrect for the most part,cause Man created the reality we see now, not God.The church are with the people of politics and lie to Mankind and say they are not. these are the same kind of people. weak

Take the medical fields,they forbid any Human to use natural herb's of this earth.they allow it,but tell Mankind it is not safe and untrustworthy.and tell people that the medicine they make is safer then natural earth medicines.and charge alot of money for it.Either has been used for 100 years,and those people do not truely know how it works!? they just know after countless deaths the measurement to apply to a certian weight..all I say is true, if you wish not to listen, you do not see truth

Hello, there are many problems with religion just as there are many problems with politics, I believe they are one of the same. and it is the same kind of beings running the show.Mankind can not handle any kind of power.Mankind is to weak minded to understand compassion or equality or even Love for some, and if this were not true, then our exsistence would be a much better place to exsist.More proof, Any advancement in Mankinds science's is rarely effective,unless it is used for killing,----->

To tell the truth, I'm a Christian, and yes, much of the Bible seems like a piece of crap to atehists, but God has performed miracles for me in real life, I don't have to rely on an extensive tome full of parables and old english morals. Either that, or something pities me for still believing has granted my prayers, idk, but I'm going with the first.

Ok. Explain this. There are two types of desire~Natural, and unnatural. Natural, is something that exists, that they desire. Such as, humans naturally desire things such as, food, water, love, sex, ect. Every human desires it, making it natural. Unnatural desire, is for..say...for the packers to win the superbowl. That is one that not everyone wants, making it unnatural. Why, then, does everyone, at somepoint in their life, look for something higher?? Maybe not a God, but something. If not now,

.....(2) but i say that there are other evidence which include historical event, records and people personal experiences. So i think just because we can't obtain a numerical tests to prove about something, it doesn't mean that that thing isn't real but rather, i might say, our limited capability to do so.
