i have the same problem, like the hammer on is low but the pull of is loud, i use my overdrive setting to overcome this but i shouldnt have to.

Good try, though your technique is quite sloppy, and there were quite a few bad notes in there, as well as incorrect patterns. Good on you for trying, but maybe shouldn't have called this a "lesson", as it teaches bad habits, which could hinder a player rather than help.

no i got a zoom g2.1 effects pedal which gives me more distortion than i need. i improved on it though and now i can tap great.

you have the tapping pattern wrong. its not a triplet its a 6let lol. dont know exactly whats it called.

ya if your amp doesnt have a distortion option get a distortion pedal it really helps

yeah i have the same problem. Turn the gain up on your amp or pedal...that shud help. make sure you hit it really hard too
