after that the i tried scanning anyways but then i couldent move the png over

If you do the hack up to the tribe stage bit or something, you can put your cells in the creature editor, even ones with illegal parts.

So, would these parts carry over to the creature stage and subsequent stages? If not, I think that's why Maxis didn't put them in the final game. Too much programming for the conversion to creature stage.

You have to use the always save hack or mod, but you can play them.
