  • I looked at the Equal Money System website. That is an Orwellian nightmare society waiting to happen. Nobody is going to fall for it--at least I hope not. You've got to find something better than that. The stagnation and oppression of the Soviet Union will seem tame compared to what is unleashed with such a freaky plan.

  • @hapspir : huh? You obviously have nto investigated equal money because what you just said makes no sense. If abuse comes from it, then it is NOT the EMS but another system.

  • Captilism s not the problem. The problems are the beliefs people hold within themselves that "Quantity is better than Quality ".

  • @HumanLife52627 : that is part of the problem. It is not one or the other, but a combination of all such things that create this system the way it is.

  • Nice vid, very informative regarding the rampant consumerism sponsored by our so-called 'capitalism'. I looked over the site, equalmoney...though I agree that some measure of delegating resources is necessary, I would rather depart from an outdated control paradigm of cost and the money based economy. If we want to truely work towards a solution, we have to understand...and then remove the problem. This is why I advocate the Zeitgeist Movement and the Resource Based Economy. Peace be with you...

  • @mdlittle5466 : we will have to start with using money, equalising it, to first eleviate the majority of poor out of the misery (together with other forms of abuse). Using money to change the system, and to bring in a new one that will also open room for personal development, a change of the inner human. A RBE society would come after equal money.

  • @talltreehill7 : on our own we cannot change a system that uses a group to keep it up. Without having the people together with a plan on a replacement, something that can function. This is the phase of bringing people together - not dividing people on their own. No one is dictating anyone. We who support the new system do so because of our own realisations. Their is no current true freedom - we want real freedom! End of mind control.

  • The trick is the pricing of products. Either you buy a lower quality product that doesn't last, or you stretch yourself beyond your financial means and buy the higher quality product. Either way, as a consumer, you lose. Fuck Capitalism.

  • @SpamAnn Agreed, a transitionary period is required - most are so engrained with monetary dependency that a concept such as a resource based economy is utterly foriegn to them. In that regard, the equal money concept would be wise in order to help facilitate the understanding of the resource based economy...as long as it was understood that money, in and of itself, was going to eventually be filtered out of existance and no longer employed as a means of survivability and sustainability.
