Can i just use a cut up coat hangar? I'd rather not spend $6 at Walmart on what i only need once.
-
So where are the improper comments are?

Thank you! I was trying to bend the keys down/inward/ and upward...didnt think outward..Huge help, came right out!
-
@redflagg123 You have to bend the "keys" outward before you pull to release the locks on the side.
-
I took the radio out with four tent sticks. Just have to get the right diameter - 3.0 mm worked fine and the hooks on the sticks made it easier to pull four at a time.

They are on our website. We can't link our site in this post bc of youtube, buy you can go directly to our site by typing it in to google: iPodCarPros. Once on our site, click on Radio Removal Tools.

Some can be arnry. Push them into til they click. If you go to far, it won't work bc when you go to bend outwards, you would be depressing the clips.
Good Luck. If your radio wont budge, then you will have to take the dash apart and depress the clips from the inside.

I would just purchase the proper tools. Yes you can use many homemade items, but I have seen alot of unnecessary damage done, just to save $10. We have them available on our website (click our IpodCarPros name) or you may find them locally as well.
