Thank God its saved!
But what is interesting that there is no name of that "local attorney" who pressed the charges. Those kind of evils have to be exposed. Actually that's what they are afraid the most. Light always win when meets dark

Judge,
You are awesome! Thank you for standing up for a basic shift in how we are going to put this nation back up by pour own bootstraps. Good goodness sakes let's encourage all of us to take control and grow our own food right where we live. They use to be called Victory Gardens during World War 2, so they can lead us to victory once again!
Keep up the good work!

it made me cry a little, to see this little triumph of common sense and goodwill. This guy is trying to do something good for himself and his community, and it's great that this has been recognised.
Thank you to the judge and others involved in helping common sense win in the end. Imagine the carbon that could be sequestered if every patch of lawn or grass that isn't used for more than parking a car or keeping the neighbour's narrow sense of propriety satisfied, was turned over to fruit trees!

We have the right to do what we want with our property unless it is dangerous or harmful to others.
"Common sense is not common anymore" Healthy eating, gardening, mentoring are all great qualities and good character. Isn't that what we look for in ourselves and neighbors? If the Judge cannot see this then 'something is really rotten in Dodge!'

@Callvinecommunicator LOL - well then, let them arrest the damn cat! Leave the man and his garden alone!!
-
@Jalynfane As it should be!! It's the only way to be assured you aren't eating chemically treated foods these days!! Good for Oregon!!

I'm amazed that in this day and age, silly people still make silly complaints!! How ridiculous! and not only is this man growing non-contaminated fruit/veggies, he's teaching young people how to be self sufficient and eat healthy at the same time!
I suppose they'd rather have useless grass growing, costing water, cutting, raking, etc.......... and for what?? A big O=nothing! Outrageous, and this judge needs to get with the program and into the 21st century!!

what the FUCK!

Move up here to Oregon, you see gardens like this on every other front yard in the city.
We choose the Celebration of Abundance over the Enforcement of Scarcity!

Adam... good luck
I'm luckily living in NZ, where a greener world is our aim.
How RIDICULOUS this judge is. A productive and valid use of private land, to produce fruit/vege for him and his community. He needs a medal, the local council needs to step and and support him. And whoever complained, needs a big pile of rotted horse manure left on their doorstep (so they can start there own garden)
