Zoom H2 plus Audacity wavs - short section of guitar backhorn with Tangband then K12 Karlson with Fostex
- headphones are best to get a rough idea of their differences

  • The second speaker is the less expensive Fostex FE206EN mounted in a 1954 design Karlson 12 enclosure and the Karlson has less bulk than the B20 rear load horn.

  • the tang band is the wise choice...

  • @cumesoftware the tang band has rising sensitivity from 1k up to i think about 15k if I remember the graphs correctly, that's probably what you're hearing.

  • I vote for the second, as the lows are more present.

  • The first track was bright sounding and the second has more depth, IMO.

  • The second seems better sounding.
