@KoalKottentail, you are right. The fact that my comment that African women have insecurities about natural hair as much as black women was turned in to a drawn out discussion is hard for me to grasp. Because what I am saying is true and at the end of the day, hair is a topic that should not warrant this much discussion. At least not at the level to which we have discussed. Have a great day.

@cumensu Who were my other friends on here. I dont know anyone. Africa has 55 countries and different GDP structures and cultures, mind you western influence in not monolithic. Note that I lauded no one and spoke for myself, but you did just that. Im sorry if this is to much for you maybe the topic of hair is to hard to grasp in diversity.
Thanks for the wishes, I need them I have a midterm coming.

@KoalKottentail, cont 2. and economical issues of your country. This is too much for me, people are taking things way too far. Good bye and best wishes to you.

@KoalKottentail, cont. Not all African women embrace natural hair. We have the same hang ups as African Americans regarding our hair. And I never acted like the expert she did. And please, don't make this more of an issue than it was. It was obviously you and all your other friends who decided to make this an issue. Don't lie to yourself by lauding African women as completely embracing all things natural. And you are from Africa too, so maybe you should also concern yourself about the political

@KoalKottentail, what is you and everyone else's problem. I didn't say that African women don't wear natural hair but I merely pointed out the fact that she had a wrong idea of Africa and African women. Yes there are natural women but don't be fooled into thinking that all African women walk around natural. Especially when aspects of our cultures, in all African countries is influenced by the West. So please, chill out.

@cumensu You're are neither an expert...

@MickJagoffable As someone who is sub-saharan african dont take this user as spokesperson for 55 countries she doesn't speak for the entire continent. As someone who is from Ghana once leaving grade school the ability to wear your hair natural, or chemically straightened/curled, heat styled, extensions, are done. A lot of these natural chicks have hair down their back and super kinky cause of the heat and shea products.

@cumensu Speak for yourself then, and concern yourself about the socio-and economic crisis going on in DRC not hair. I don't know what colonial conflict of interest is going on there. But as someone who is from Ghana once leaving grade school the ability to wear your hair natural, chemically straightened/curled, heat styled, extensions, are done. A lot of these natural chicks have hair down their back and super kinky cause of the heat and shea products. They love it so dont speak for all africa

@Sw88tie, who said you touch white people's hair. A lot of the women commenting are being real petty.
