  • what happens after 6:43?

  • The Witch continues to hassle Dorothy for the Ruby Slippers. Are you not familiar with the story?

  • How did they get the dog to stay?

  • He was professionally trained. He followed subtle cues given by Dorothy and sometimes his trainer from offstage.

  • how did you get that close to them?

  • This was taped professionally and sent out to news programs, etc. to promote the show in cities that it was coming to. A program would take a few small clips and create their own little TV spots, trailers, etc.

  • I remember the tour version. Me and my grandmother went and saw it, and I was like "That was short". :l But it was awesome!

  • I saw this in MSG in '99! It was amazing!! :)

  • The MSG Production was actually the best!!

  • I seem to remember, when I saw this, Ertha Kitt was sick, so we saw this actress. But hey, I liked her. I saw the new tour just the other day. That witch had no clue what she was doing.

  • Oh my gosh, this takes me back. I was seven when I saw this show live in 1999.

  • @EllisCunAndEllieAdd

    We had 3 dogs.

    1 did tricks

    1 didn't move

    1 was light to carry.

They were the best trained doggies!

  • Lara Teeter is amazing!

  • @danaaa130 do you mean the people too? no it's just the lighting they used. if you dont mean the cast, then yes the backdrops and props were painted black and white.

  • Do you know where I can get the full production?? This is a GREAT cast, thanks for posting this!! And I know it was at Madison Square Garden (as in this footage) but I never knew it went any where else Where else did it go, do you know??
