@Dimefan91 just had the same conversation with another on the same song, claiming it to be a civil war uniform. couldnt explain first its not american soldiers and second not even the right dates for the american civil war.

The song is about the Battle of Balaclava in 1854 during the Crimean War, not the Civil War or World War 2.
