Greeks were very lucky that day. We were in far from our usual form, and even then the goal was clearly offside as Marx claimed. I am pretty sure that we could beat them in another game, which unfortunately never took place again. And this actually vindicates my general thoughts on life: one should keep his desires at minimum and try to avoid trouble and hence suffering.

I want to see the whole tournament, but it seems te English have lost against Germany with the disappearance of Thomas Hobbes, thinking the referee had broken the social contract, which has ended in a red card for Hobbes. The French lost to the Greek, because Rousseau argued that childeren were allowed in the team, because they are innocent people. Referee Buddah didn't agree, which made the French team too small to play. The Dutch lost in the first round, because their team had only Cruijff.

Also, let's not forget the surprise package of the tournament, the Americans. They fought valiantly, but eventually proved unable to break free of the limpid tentacles of packed Mediterranean defense, falling to Italy, led by man of the tournament Niccolo Machiavelli, in the quarter-finals.
