Tetanus FI 2011 Roller Blade Wheel Spin Test

I replaced the colson wheel with a 3" roller blade wheel instead because it is harder and shouldn't wear as fast. I was having problems with the colson wheels coming apart at high RPM after running for a while because the softened too much. I expected the roller blade wheel to be so hard that it didn't get enough grip on the shell but was pleasantly surprised to see that it gripped very well.

An AXI 5330/18 at 8S A123 (which is right around 30 volts). The speed controller is a Castle Creations ICE 100. I've measured currents as high as 70A at 25v on spinup so that's consuming about 2.3 horsepower. Figure with efficiencies it is probably producing right around 2 horsepower at the shell.
