Mike Huckabee comments on the New Jersey governor's race, in which Jon Corzine has put out an attack ad at opponent Chris Christie, accusing the overweight Republican candidate of "throwing his weight around."

Huckabee, who was once fat himself, calls it a "foolish" campaign. "He really has an opportunity to checkmate this thing," he says, adding that Corzine might be looked at in a different view by people who are fat themselves.

"This is about confidence, not corpulence," he concludes.

  • fox would NEVER hire a fat female news anchor.

  • Hey Corzine, there are more of us fat people in America than there are thin people. Pissing off the majority of voters by attacking Christie's weight is not a sound election strategy. By the way Corzine, you are not exactly a slim super model either. Christie and Corzine are the same sleazy liberal that is ruining this nation, but I would vote for Christie based on this ad if I was in Jersey and I still will consider donating to Christie's campaign based only on the fat attack ads.

  • Did Huckabee regain all that weight? Sure looks like it!

  • It is better for Garden State to have heavy governor than heavy taxes

  • This ad just shows how desperate Corzine was. Apparently, Jon Corzine didn't know any other way to attack his opponent, so he focuses on his weight.
