@1sinners he does say 2 hours sniping its a 4 minute video so i'm sure he will have emptied his snuffer bulb several times , the video is not a tutorial , just a quick video for people who are interested in the hobby

@wildgooseironman It's very commendable of you to give a character reference and most likely there is a simple explanation of what has happened. Someone other than me has accused him of cheating, and the video shows something that is clearly not straight forward. I don't know you or Leon personally so have no idea how honest you or him are. The reason for whatever has happened in this video is unknown and most likely is totaly innocent. I personally don't care that much, but it is interesting.

Leon is a well respected and pro sniper, he is known to most of the gold prosectors in the UK. Whatever it is folks are trying to 'work out', take a chill pill. There are snipers and there are snipers, Leon is the kind of sniper who can come along after you have finished with your shufty scope and still keep the gold coming. Sniping isn't just a man in a drysuit and scraper, you need the 'knack'. Give up with the guessing if it's real or not. You are watching a pro.

There is one thing I can think of, maybe Leon already had dumped the stuff out, but the camera wasn't running, so a quick pretend run was done to get the whole experience. Just a thought because I don't want to think Leon is cheating.

Well, I have watched this video a few times for inspiration and never noticed that what "1sinners" said, (although a bit harshly) seems to be is true as far as there is clearly dirt already in the pan and that only clear water is coming out of the bulb. I watched it again and again, as close to frame by frame as I could get and it seems that something is wrong here. I hope this is not a fraud as I really had high hopes to get out and do this myself.

The first time I met him, I watched Leon snipe a pool that was played out as far as most were concerned. For around two hours he worked in a tiny area, no more than a few square yards. When he tipped his bulb into the pan I didn't see any gold drop. A gentle swirl removed about an eggcup full of black sand. I was gobsmacked by the quantity and quality of the pieces. He is an expert and finds gold that others have missed (me included). Don't be fooled by any limitations of the filming process.

I reckon that's a great demonstration of how a proper sniper works. Great stuff Leon.

This is REAL sniping, if you know what you are doing, you don't need to pan out a lot of sediment and separate the gold from the rest of the gash you hoovered up. A good sniper will sort out the wheat from the chaff underwater before it even gets into the snuffer. You are obviously not an expert or even a novice at sniping 1sinners.

You are watching an expert, watch and learn something rather than leaving offensive comments.
