Zelda Ocarina of Time - King Dodongo - No damage

King Dodongo beaten without taking damage. Played in real time on Mupen64 0.5 re-recording v2.

Dodongo dislikes smoke. Or, more specifically, bombs. You'll need to throw either a bomb or a bomb flower into King Dodongo's open mouth to stun it before you can attack its head with your sword. But be quick about it or else you'll get fried by its fiery breath.

At the start of the fight King Dodongo will raise its head up while opening its mouth and inhaling. This is your cue to toss a bomb in there before it can breath fire and then jump attack its head after the bomb explodes. After being hit this way Dodongo will curl up into a ball and roll at you along the path, turn one corner, and stop at the next. Avoid this by standing on the little slope at the edge of the lava pool and letting Dodongo roll past you before giving chase. If you're out of bombs, pick up the bomb flower at the corner where Dodongo turns. After stopping at the next corner Dodongo will turn around and try to breath fire again, at which point you should toss another bomb into its mouth and repeat the process.

This is the easiest boss fight in the game, you'd have to be going full-retard to take damage during it.
