Metric is absolutely amazing. My friend just showed me their stuff a month ago and I'm hooked. I have their fantasies CD and its amazing. I just found some of their older stuff, like this and I love it too. Emily Haines' voice rocks

@wouldulistentome I believe it has to do with a prostitute if you think about it. The ending says "Got to get to you, the orphanage is closing in an hour" It could have been an accidental pregnancy through prostitution and she sent the baby there. Although what you said also makes tons of sense with "The whole world wants what we're on"

I love this song but the ending is my favorite part. It makes me imagine floating through space.
