Depicts my early attempts at long range sniping. This is to show anyone giving it a go how to go about it. By it's nature it also shows the groaning misses. Any comments regarding the lack of ability in some of the shots I shall label an inbred mongtard in advance, as that is the whole point of this video. I coudl edit all the misses and fuckups out and call myself an "Elite Uber Soldat of the Army of Death", but then I woudl be a mongtard then as well, wouldn't I?! Yes. I would.
This isnt something I normally go in for as it is counter productive in terms of achiving the objectives in the game, and for SQDM, the maps are too small and multi-directional. But for anyone wanting a lazy Saturday afternoon knocking off that Marksman headshot pin, hope this helps.

Info: A Marskman headshot is a shot to the head resulting in a kill, at a range in excess of 100 yards. Additional points are awarded for each yard over the 100 yards minimum. So you can work the distance out from the points you get.

Scoring:
Kill -------------------- 50
Headshot ---------- 10
Marksman HS ---- +1 for each yard OVER 100 yards.
(If you get Marskman Headshot +280, this is a 380 yard headshot (100+280=380 Geddit?)

Additional Bonus --- You can get normal additional bonus such as Savior Kill, Payback etc. The first headshot in the video adds a Savior Kill (+50) to the points bringing the total to 366 points for one kill.

  • I give you the advice to switch to M24. However it has not that much damage, it has the most accuracy and the crosshairs helps to aim on the head. Believe me.. a little exercise and you'll get a headshot-only shooter

  • @Friesenjung87 balls to being a boring twat sitting on a hill 30 miles away pointing at pixels.

    I use the uzi to HS snipers,or failing that, tracer dart them and send a rocket in their face. Woot.

  • There are alot of shorty snipers giving recon a bad name... I'll admit I use it alot and usually keep a good 200 yards away from real combat. But, my squad always knows where the enemy is and mortars help the engineers alot... If your guns play recon do some recon I thank you Babylon for pointing this shit out lol

    Recon (recon not sniper) is a highly useful class

    currently thsi far on ..(1 yr 1 mnth) the Rcon is now "wookie +shotgun", or woookie+nonclasskit or wookie+nonobjectivecunt

    Its grinding cunts now.... they still go down with a nice m9 in the back of the head .

  • I've had higher,but mainly higher marks denote distance over 100m. But if points be your thing, you can get considerable mark up if you are in a squad, spot the objective and take kills within that objective zone.

    To get reliable and consistent headshots (which is the point of this vid) you need to be in reliable rang to pop skulls consitantly, but far enough away to be safe,

    ..but perhaps more importantly, to not sit in the same place every other fucker does and get sniped back or knifed!

  • @BabylonWhore666 it wasn't an advice to long-distance-snipe. You can hit almost every time the head, even when youre at a 100 ft distance. It needs exercise. The col magnum is not the best gun for that because of the missing line sections in crosshair

  • wtf, u shuda got waaaay higher points for these kills lol, the highest ive managed with one sniper kills is 362 points

  • @frostyfoe Aye.. I'm mor ebeating myself up here. This kinda of gameplay its pretty lame in objective modes like rush or conquest..especially when you have half the attackign team in Rush as "sniper".

    The recon mode is quite useful as an attack tool if used properly... mcom bashing, poke balls(motion sensors), and my favourite ..a nice hidden spawn point for your squad. :D

    It's really kind of shit how EA's restrictive ROE rules, officially disallow restricting classes and weapons etc.
