Got to see her in a small club in Portland, Maine back in the early 90's (93-95ish) She is the most laid back and creative person I've ever seen. Genius!

I can definitely hear The Band in this song, said band which she has cited as one of her major influences. And yes, there might be a little Joni Mitchell in there.
Seriously, the guitar licks sound just like Robbie Robertson, and I can just imagine and hear Rick Danko singing these lyrics.
They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and when you can do it in a completely original way and clearly evoke memories of great artists of the opposite gender.....hey, that's rockin'.
