Super Mario Sunshine Speedrun (Segment 8) faster beginning

A few days ago I was watching Thiradell's speedrun and recognized, that I would start segment 8 different than him, so I compared these two routes.

In this video my route is just like 2 seconds faster, but my run was sloppy and there was always this guy in my way, so normally it would be 5-7 seconds faster.
This route is a little bit harder, but it's in the beginning of the segment, so it shouldn't be a problem.

I'm not really planning to make a speedrun of Super Mario Sunshine in the near future. I'm just searching for improvements in his run to make it easier for me or the next speedrunner to beat this run.

All in all Thiradell's run is not that good. He had always some mistakes or sloppy parts in the beginning of his segments, but I would try to be always really risky in the first 3 minutes of a segment, cause it's easy to redo it then.

there is yellow text on the top of the screen, when I'm TASing, but that's not lack, that's just the savestate text.
