In order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the infamous "Hand of God" goal as well as the "Goal of the Century" we at www.thewadeblogs.com recreated the goals using our trusty (or should we say dusty old) Nintendo game system. It took us a week to beat the computer and get the audio just right but check out our near perfect recreation (compare it to the realtime clips of the goal).

  • (touch football) putting the ball down in the end zone is called a touchdown and the only way to get points

  • dickhead - i meant yoou don't need to touch the ball down on the ground to score a fucking touchdown! you have to be holding the ball and walk over the line - how imaginitive is that? At least here in Aus we play Rugby (despite i don't like the game all that much it's fun to watch and better than american "foot"ball) where you have to put the ball down to get the points - and thats called a TRY!

In the non-tackling version of the game

  • and they arnt in soccer either idiot, soccer players get dropped just as fast as (A)football players, I know way more than you at (A) football I can promise you that, not only did I play it I coached for a year too, im only 20 and the only reason I still dont coach is cause of soccer. Another person who thinks just because they watch it thinks they know more than someone whos done it, coached it, and watches it. Proud to be a person who has an opened mind VISIT THE WORLD. Again stay in NY
