Very friendly sounding track off Heron's debut album from 1970. The Album was recorded live outdoors in a field by the River Thames. Keep an ear out for birds chirping and other outdoors noises! Enjoy!

  • Both their albums (plus extras) are on Amazon. Look for a collection called the Upon Reflection: The Dawn Anthology, Sanctuary Records. It's under 10 pounds and well worth the money.

  • Both their albums (plus extras) are on here...amazon.co.uk/Upon-Reflection-Dawn-Anthology-Heron/dp/B000HT3KNS

  • @readingsus1 or anyone else interested, you can buy their CDs at relaxx dot co dot uk/heron.htm There's info at the bottom on how to buy. As well, you can order things from the various amazons regardless of where you live, as far as I'm aware. I'm in Canada, but have bought from amazon in the UK and US and France as well, with no problem. amazon.ca has "Upon reflection.." available (or so they say.)

  • I first heard of this group by reading the book "Electric Eden" by Rob Young. I can't believe I never heard of them back in the days they were recording. I think they're wonderful.

  • I went to college with Roy from this group. I have the album but cannot play it! I want the CD but it seems to be only available in USA!! I am in the UK and this lot were all from the UK too.....any ideas?

  • I still play my old record, bought 40 years ago... :-) Got myself a Cd so that I can listen to them in my car as well. Glad to find that there are still people around who are happy to discover bands like Heron!!!
