The Devil's Miner is a documentary film directed by independent film directors Kief Davidson and Richard Ladkani. The film follows a fourteen year old Bolivian boy named Basilo Vargas who along with his twelve year old brother Bernardino work in the local mines. The film made its world premier at the Rotterdam film festival and its U.S. debut at the Tribeca Film Festival.

this movie made me cry 3 times, my dad is from bolivia and worked as a shepard as a young boy.. i hope the very best for basilio vargas and his family :(

I saw this movie in history class.... i saw it in spanish class a few days later and it was sadder than the first time.

I watched this, it's so sad. It profoundly hurts me to see children in these circumstances, but this is the sad reality of life. The faces of these miners will forever be imprinted in my head. God bless these people.
