...Santa Ana police officer used his police cruiser to take down a fleeing suspect around 10:00 p.m. on September 11. The suspect was allegedly armed with a knife and seen accosting an eldlerly man earlier that evening, as well as brandishing the knife and throwing bottles at passing cars. The suspect's current condition and charges against him are unknown at this time. It is also unknown if the officer used justifiable force in apprehending the suspect.

  • The alleged suspect settled our of court 100k. Cost the city 2.45 million for Susie Kim settlement. He's still on the force.
