@McLarenMercedes But man, that Tyrrell was the worst car of all, had only 540 HP, against the + 850 HP other! Despite the irregularities, it was a car that had no chance against the other! And the disqualification happened only because they found irregularities "ONLY" in Brundle's car and "ONLY" in the race in Detroit. So, my friend: this race MONACO 1984, Bellof was "completely within the rules" and running with a crap car with 300 HP less than its competitors! BELLOF FOREVER!!!

Sublime talent. Would have become one of the greats.

One of the kings of monaco

True, but bear this in mind. A normally aspirated engine always suited Monaco better. In rain that engine is also way easier to drive than the turbo engines. Finally, it was revealed at the end of the year that Tyrrell had driven underweight cars in the races (they filled them with heavy lead bearings to pass the weighing) and thus were disqualified from ALL their result in the 1984 season.

Bellof still the Best !
It would have been great to have Stefan Bellof racing against Senna, Prost, Piquet and Mansell. He has died too young.

Awesome. He was catching both Senna and Prost when they stopped the race early.
